David Garavito was born in Bogotà (Colombia), where he spent part of his childhood and teenage years. He has also lived in the United States and in Germany, but currently resides in Milan. In 1991 David set off to Italy where he graduated from the Marangoni Institute of Fashion, and soon started working in the fashion industry.

Throughout his career David has collaborated and created collections for some of the most prestigious Italian brands such as MISSONI, GIORGIO ARMANI, and BLUMARINE. His most complete experience was at ESCADA, where he worked for four years initially as Senior Designer for the main collection, and finally taking on the position of Design Director for the "ESCADA Edition" Collection.

Today, David Garavito proposes his own personal vision of timeless beauty and elegance, based on classic "COUTURE" techniques with a contemporary perspective.
